Hullo there! Today we have another piece of something special for you all. It's a Melbourne band called Shadow League, and here's their album Ghosts in Our Sails to hit you in the face with a mighty wallop of goodness. As usual, right click and save on a song title to GET DA SONG. Here's Dave from the band to give you all a rundown:

We play folk/punk/rock and have been around for a few years but this is our first release as a 3 piece.

The self recorded album features backups from Wil Wagner (Of Smith Street Band fame) and Lucy Wilson. It also features Warren Lenthall on Piano/trumpet and Penelope Kidney on Cello.

1: Fall Where You Do
Lucy Wilson sings great and Wil plays Banjo on this. They sound good.

2: Out on a Limb
We play, Wil sings some bits.

3: Never Quite Enough
This was the first song we wrote as a 3 piece, we made a video for it, it’s just us in a room we rented a massive PA and blasted the song and played along in the sales room at my work.

4: The Water Line
This song has Lucy Wilson as well, she sounds great, my backup got deleted along with all my other backups on the album because they sucked. We play this a lot faster live... the cello piece after it was just the parts solo’d, they sounded so good we gave them their own part... the girl Penelope freestyled it all, she is super talented.

5: Cover Me In Flames
I like the drums. It’s nice to occasionally like what you play.

6: This Night Creeps
I have no idea of what the song name means... I might have to ask Craig.

7: Last Call
We wrote a pirate song. Wil plays Mandolin on this. Nuff said

8: Midnight Reverend
I couldn’t write any drums for this... it sounds better without them.
