A guide to the most under appreciated people ever!

Matt's picture

In this world there are some people that everybody just seems to go on and on about for no real reason. I am talking about people like Michael Jackson, Tyra Banks, The Beatles, Elizabeth Taylor and Morgan Freeman etc etc. It sometimes feels like so much time is spent on these people that there are lots of other great people who go under appreciated. This article is dedicated to those people!

Bassplayer from Sum 41

This guy was heaps awesome. The black guy and the lead singer were always the guys from this band who got the props but the bassplayer was always the greatest member of this band in my opinion. He always had cool punk hair and did mad jumps (usually synchronized punk jumps!) and just generally acted crazy. This guy was awesome, and in my opinion, is totally unappreciated!

Tim Allen

Tim Allen is awesome. He was really great in the classic long running sit-com HOME IMPROVEMENT, but he was also really cool in the lesser known movies Jungle2Jungle and The Shaggy Dog 2. He also did very funny stand-up comedy.

Anthony Kiedis

This guy is in a pretty popular band, but I still feel that he is super under appreciated by society. For a long time he was a crazy, high energy performer where he was jumping around with his crazy vocals, but then he showed his sensitive side when out of nowhere he penned some of the greatest and most important songs of all time. He also featured in one of histories most important cinematic moments, where in the Under The Bridge video he was furiously, in slow motion, running at the camera with his shirt off. Not only is he a lyrical genius and wonderful vocalist, but has some extremely impressive acting chops as well.

Catriona Rowntree

I just think she is lovely. What is she doing these days?

Chris King

Not many people are going to recognise this name, but in the city of Gosford, Chris King is a legend. Chris King has been putting on entertainment seminars, and helping shopping centres book school holiday entertainment for decades now. He runs an extremely successful talent school for kids where he will instruct them in tap, jazz ballet, singing, acting, and Irish riverdance. Around ten years ago he played the roll of a school teacher on Home & Away for a few episodes, truly proving that he has the talent to work on the world stage! And if you don't believe me check out this glowing testimonial from Kylie Sinclair, the manager of Gosford City Bowl:

"Thank you for your fabulous seminar... I can honestly say that results are already starting to filter through from the staff. After the seminar there was certainly a buzz in the air of enthusiasm, motivation and most importantly commitment. The staff are feeling more confident within themselves and I can physically see them making an extra effort to provide the ultimate in customer service. With a long term maintenance plan in place I feel the strength of the seminar you held with be with us for a long time. Again thank you for your time and seminar and I look forward to a long relationship."

Chris King is a name that will never be forgotten!

Tia Carrere

This lady starred in the Wayne's World movies (the greatest comedies of all time), and then just seemed to disappear. What happened to her? I really liked her in those movies and think Hollywood should give her more of a chance to shine in other movies.

Liberal party member for Cowan, Luke Simpkins

Look, I don't want to get all political right now, but it's obvious that we have a problem with muslims in this country. You just need to look around to see that they are already everywhere and you just need to talk to them for five minutes to realise that they are all dirty, rude, angry people, and certainly not AUSTRALIAN. There is some enlightening videos on the internet that show you that in only a few years they will be running this country, and you just need to see how fucked up their countries are to see that we DO NOT want that happening over here. Luke Simpkins is one man who is standing up for what is right and fighting to stop the muslims once and for all by taking a stance against HALAL food in WA.

Kirk Pengilly

Holy shit, how awesome was this guy! Everybody always says that INXS are nothing without Michael Huttchence but that is BULLSHIT. Kirk Pengilly was the only worthwhile thing about that band, and still today, is the only worthwhile thing about INXS. His mad sax skills alone make him one of the most incredible people ever but even on top of that he is usually sporting a super cool mustache, stylish glasses, and is most of the time dressed in a really fresh way. One time I was watching an old INXS video and he was on his back busting out a mad sax solo and in all honesty it was the most incredible thing I have ever seen. He was just laying on his back wailing on his sax...incredible. Kirk Pengilly is one of the greatest Australians of all time and if you disagree you are wrong.

Catriona Rowntree is still hosting a version of Getaway on one of those Channel 9/10 channels on digital tv. I saw it just this weekend past, not sure how up to date it was though. They don't give any holiday package prices on the show, you have to log on to their website!

Catriona doesn't test out resorts wearing a bikini anymore, she just hosts the show... and waits until the Logies or TV week Awards where she becomes a stalwart C-list Aussie Celeb

god bless her
